Kilometer 6 Update

We're now 6 kilometers into building Race Wallet, which means another update! Here are the things we think you'll love in this release.

Improved Race Status

We have this "Race Updates" section on the race details screen. This section aims to provide you with the type of updates whether your race is scheduled, canceled, or suspended.

In this latest update, we've improved our systems in managing how to make it more faster and reliable for you.

We're still going to keep on improving it as we go along.

Race Recommendation

When we started Race Wallet, one of the problems was ensuring that all users' races were available on the list.

Since then, we've been accepting through our social media accounts to get the races from each one.

However, that isn't scaling very well as there are still a lot of races we lack visibility of. It's still difficult for us to know every race that is coming.

This is why one of our solutions is to allow each of you to recommend a race for the community. The Add Race screen in the app has a section that will bring you to a form where you can submit a race recommendation.

We require you to submit only the link to the event, and we will add it to the list.

You can also select your preferred distance which we can automatically add to your account once the race is added to the list.

Since the time we've rolled it out, a few of our users have already recommended races from different places! Thank you for helping us keep our list updated. We will keep on improving it as we go along.

Race Calendar

On our previous release in Kilometer 5, we added support for adding races to your Google Calendar accounts. That's great but we want to expand it a little further but in a different direction.

With this new update, you can now access your Race Calendar in a single tap.

Race Calendar is a feature that allows you to view all your races in a calendar mode. This helps you gain a better overview of what's coming and what's finished.

You might ask, we already have the "My Upcoming Races" section on the home screen. Why do we need a Race Calendar?

The Race Calendar works well with the "My Upcoming Races" section, extending its functionality by giving you a different perspective on your upcoming races.
