Kilometer 8 Update

It's been a while since our last kilometer update. There has been a lot of groundwork that must be started to set ourselves up moving forward.

Now that we are here, let us hear what we have in the arc of Kilometer 8.

Shareable Race

Your race details are a special place for you and your race. It is a place where you can view the updates from the race, check your attendance, and view your photos after races - it's a special place.

However, when you want to share and invite your friend to a race, there hasn't been an easy way to do it besides screenshots.

Starting today - you can start sharing your race with your friends so you can invite them and have fun together in your upcoming races!

The details shared are only the public data of the race and not your account details. It is still preserved in your special place.

Monthly Race Receipt Generation

When we released Race Receipt last Dec 2024, a lot of people were doing their yearly wrap-up of the year. It has been one of the features that people liked.

We're now extending it to generate a monthly Race Receipt for you! Every end of the month, we'll generate a Race Receipt on your account to make it easy for you!

To see all your generated Race Receipts you can do the following:

1. Sign in to your Race Wallet account

2. Look for your profile account at the top right and click on it

3. Click on My Receipts

It's that easy! No need for you to do it manually or wait for the annual wrap-up. Every month, Race Receipt is now available.

Your Finished Races Are Important

A few months ago, we started sending you notifications days before your upcoming races because we want you to not miss it.

This is why, one of the things we've worked on in this update is to do it after your races as well.

We're now officially sending notifications to you before and after your race! We want to let you know that we care for you and your race.

You and your race are important ❤️

What's Next?

As mentioned at the start of this update, it's been a while since our last update for the reason that we're working on some groundwork and I'd like to shed a bit of light on what's happening.

We're staying strong with our commitment to you - all your races, all in one place.

In the past months, we've had discussions regarding multi-sports support in the platform. However, after carefully considering it, we've found out that our current structure in the system will not be able to support it rightfully.

As much as we want to support it as soon as possible, we highly dislike hitting it with incorrect tools and buttons and shooting ourselves in the foot.

This is why we're taking the long road ahead - build a better system from the ground up and take all the ideas we've brainstormed to take us to even better heights.

It's a lot of work but it's the best path moving forward.

On the other side, we have a lot of things lined up for Race Wallet to implement that we know you'll like!
